Exercises for Flat Stomach for Men

There is no shortage of quality exercises for flat stomach for men out there. Finding those that you like to do and that will challenge your body is very important. It doesn’t make sense to take part in workout exercises that you can’t stand to do. You will just end up making excuses not to do them. You can’t do just one exercise either as the body will stop being challenged by it. Here are some that you may want to consider doing.

Hip Raise and Leg Raise

You can get a flatter stomach as well as tone the hips and legs with this particular exercise. Lie down on a bench that is flat and make sure you have enough room that you can bring your legs up. Make sure you lift your hips off the bench slightly. This can be done by tightening the abdominal area. Hold it for up to 5 seconds and then release as you lower your hips.

You want to keep your back flat on the bench and put your legs straight. The should be lowered until they form a line that is straight with the remainder of the body. Hold the legs for a count of 5 seconds and then take them back to the position where you started. Try to do 10 reps initially of this exercise, but it may be harder than you think until your body gets used to it!

Front Plank

You will need an exercise ball for this particular one. However, there are many exercises for flat stomach for men out there that you can take part in with an exercise ball so it will be a good investment. You want to place the ball by your bench and put your elbows on the bench. The balls of your feet should be on the exercise ball. You need to make sure your body is parallel. Don’t allow your lower back to dip down. Hold this position called the plank for 1 minute.

Bench Crunches

You can do this type of exercise similar to a regular crunch. Yet you will find doing it on a bench instead of on the hard floor is going to help you get more of them done. You won’t have the soreness in your back. Make sure you focus on making your abs as tight as you can as you do each crunch. Imagine your belly button touching your back as you do them. Try to do 25 reps at first, but this is one exercise for your belly that you should be able to increase reps a bit at a time with.

Try out these various exercises for flat stomach for men. You will be surprised at how fast you are able to get results. Then you will be able to really enjoy the way that your abdominal area looks. The more fat that you burn and the more muscle you create the better they will look, and the better you will feel.
